People are wondering why the German naval commanders have not bombarded Mr Churchill's constituency at Dundee. For this they have no doubt healthy reasons, says a London correspondent. Their short stay off Hartlepool the other day suggested that they were not unduly anxious to face the fire even of a single and second rate battery. But the defences of Dundee and the Firth of Tay would promise them a reception of a more intensive character. Besides an attack so far north might bring the raiders within dangerous proximity to the Grand Fleet. If, as it seems likely, the German battle cruisers mean to repeat their spiteful exhibition journeys this yuletide., their objective, I fancy, would be rather south than north of their previous exploits.
