Disabled Access: We aim to be fully inclusive to all members of society but unfortunately our entrance doorway is narrow so a wide electric wheelchair or scooter would not fit through. Our main exhibition is on the ground floor but our archive library is down a set of steps. We do have video and audio recordings for those who have trouble reading or sight impairments. Please contact us if you have any concerns and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Car parking outside is on a 20 minutes free disc zone or a pay and display carpark is 200 yards away down the hill.
IF YOU VISIT OUTSIDE OUR NORMAL HOURS YOU CAN NOW VISIT OUR 'HISTORY BOX' ON SCARBOROUGH SEAFRONT. History Box is a converted BT red phone box with historic pictures and an audio guide to the town's history. Open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, entrance free. Location opposite the harbour and Mutiny Bar.
Our History Box, outisde the Lancaster Inn, opposite the harbour.
