Our current exhibition is on Anne Bronte and her final days in Scarborough. It runs until December 17th and then we are closed until January 10th.
In December we have an exhibition about Scarborough's Boxing Day traditions and some old films showing in the old boat yard on Sandside, Fri to Sun, 11am and 3pm, entrance free.
We also have information on tunny fishing, shipbuilding, old hotels, pubs, churches, storms & shipwrecks, town crier - Alan Booth MBE, fire brigade, Admiral Lawson, pirates, WW1 & 2, Harry Smith, Victorians, Quay Street, Longwestgate and many other topics.
Our normal opening times are: Wednesday to Sunday 11am to 4pm, entrance is free.
You can visit our 'Sea Wall Heritage Trail' around the Marine Drive to see 29 history information 'Portholes'. The 1.5km trail starts from the North or South Bay. Click here for more information.

IF WE ARE CLOSED you can also visit our 'History Box' opposite the harbour. The old red BT phone box is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year, has pictures and an audio guide on our history.
